BPSC has organized the examination for recruitment to 1.70 lakh posts of teachers in primary, upper primary, secondary and higher secondary schools in the state.

The number of primary teacher posts is 79943. Most of the candidates who applied for the primary posts were B.Ed pass candidates, but after the order of the Supreme Court, the exclusion of these candidates has made the path for D.El.Ed people to become teachers easier. Along with this, the cutoff will also go down, which will make it easier for D.El.Ed candidates to become primary teachers.

In the teacher appointment process of BPSC, three lakh 90 thousand candidates have appeared for the examination for primary schools.

Here, BPSC Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that in the light of the Supreme Court’s decision, guidance will be taken from the Education Department, only after that any further decision will be taken.

At the same time, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) students are urging Prime Minister Modi to provide them justice by making them eligible for the post of primary teacher. The candidates alleged that despite having high qualifications, the court and the government removed them from primary teacher recruitment.
